It was a huge hit! Beth loves this bucket. She hauled in a lot of Easter eggs yesterday and the bucket and the eggs have been played with almost non stop since!

What was I thinking and where has my mind been? How could I forget to make an Easter bucket for my little girl? I’ve been eyeballing these cute little things in Grant’s for quite a while now and I’ve always meant to get one done. Nothing like waiting til the last minute huh? Here’s a picture of my supplies – now I’m off to work. I’ll update as soon as I’m finished!

What can I say? It sat still too long.

Thanks to some vinyl and my Cricut – viola. Easy froo. The hibiscus and branches were cut using the new Storybook cartridge. Letters and numbers were cut using Base Camp.
These little recipe books are popular! This one I’m making for my friend Stacey. When her husband asked what she was going to be putting in the book, Stacey of course replied “recipes”.  Her husband laughed. I have faith though – Stacey is really getting into cooking now with her new cookbooks. This should help her archive some favorites. There’s a small hint to one of her true loves in this book too. Think you can figure it out?

These are work in progress pictures. I still have a few pages yet to complete.Â

All these gorgeous papers and coordinating stickers came from Grant’s Pass. You can find a link to Diane’s blog in my blog roll on the main page.Â
Happy scrapping!
These are little flip books made out of cardboard/chipboard drink coasters. I think most scrappers have at least one of these adorables lying around. They’re a lot of fun to make – like mini pages! I plan to use round coasters for a Christmas themed book this year. Dress each coaster up like an ornament.Â

I heard about the lunch sack books a couple of months ago and thought “now there’s something I HAVE to try”. Once I finished my mother in law’s family album, I dove right in and made a recipe book. It started out looking so homely but the longer I worked on and and added to it, the more it came to life. It’s an adorable book and now proudly sits atop a shelf in my kitchen for display.  There’s not anything difficult about the lunch sack books, just a lot of time. It all depends on how much you want to add to it. There’s a ton of space in one of these books for your recipes, ideas, tips, hints – anything you want to keep.Â

My book was featured on my supplier’s blog. You can see it here: http://www.grantspasspapercraft.blogspot.com/
After I finished the recipe book, I started working my brain to figure out how to make an address book with the same concept. I knew that having a page for each letter would make the book entirely too large, so while in the shower (haha) it hit me. The open ends can be divided! So, using only 5 sacks, I was able to give ample room for all the letters of an address book. It’s chock full of over 50 tags to log names and address – and it’s so girly! This one I believe will be hitting the auction at eBay.

I think I’ll offer a die cut personalization for this book – add a name to the cover!
